Wild about walls

Emily and I both have a thing about stone walls. For the last couple of days we’ve been noticing these beautiful herringbone pattern walls. Many have moss and plants adorning them like a rock garden.
Many times we’ve stopped walking to try to take the perfect wall photo. So here’s a few of our combined efforts.

  1. Thank you for sharing. Just had a lovely long weekend in Dorset doing lots of walking admiring the Purbeck drystone walls.. Cripes, those herringbones are something else!

  2. I love walls also and those ones are amazing. I’ll email you a photo of ones I took in The Mountains if Mourne N Ireland!

  3. There’s no wall like an old wall. The walls in Wales are beautiful also. They stretch for miles up near vertical slopes. Who on earth would go to all that trouble today?
